Inspiration + Concept Art

As I stated before the main inspiriation was Alice In Wonderland. Specifically the small door Alice confronts in the book when she becomes small.

But I didn't want to go for a regular rustic door. I wanted to go for a more drifted piece of wood thrown together with dirt, sand and tears.

A bunch of the photos I was looking at when i typed: Fairy Door, gave me a lotta etsy shops or were just small house decor of ppls designs for doors (WHICH I honestly didnt realize until wayyy last minute) Which I'll just link to a few below that had the most influence.

Up above was the main inspiriation. along with Alice, but while these designs worked in a way it didn't feel MAD enough.

But these were the designs that I came up with as of now.

This was the first one which is a hot mess of colors. It felt too real to me so I went with one more concept below

This design is a bit more awkward. Obviously the wooden support was a constant with possible overgrowth. But it still felt like a regular door. "People don't want Alice, they want the Mad Hatter" But That is for another day,
